Why is this important?

Art can help everyone in so many ways, but it is especially important for children. Kids learn to draw before they can write. Art can be used to express themselves in a safe way, visual literacy, problem solving, communication, and just to have fun. While we can all agree that art is important for kids, unfortunately not everyone has access to basic art supplies.  Art Matters aims to help bridge the gap and bring art supplies to underserved children in the greater Grand Forks area.

How to help

There are many ways to help;from donations to help us buy art supplies,  distribute to kids in the greater Grand Forks area, or donating your time to help pack and distribute supplies or be on our board!
